Make48 at iSTREAM

48 hours. One real product.

Make48 is a national invention competition and TV series where teams have 48 hours to turn an idea into a real product prototype and pitch it to judges. It blends STEM education, entrepreneurship, and rapid prototyping in a fast-paced challenge.

iSTREAM and Make48

First in New Jersey

iSTREAM is proud to be the first organization in New Jersey to participate in the nationally recognized Make48 Program — a fast-paced, hands-on innovation challenge where students design, build, and pitch real solutions.

Last season

Burlington City High School

We partnered with Burlington City High School, giving students an unforgettable opportunity to collaborate, create, and compete in a professional-level invention experience.

The format

Idea to prototype

Teams work against a 48-hour clock with mentors from industry and higher education, then pitch to a panel of judges.

The result

Confidence you can see

Students leave with a working prototype, a pitch they delivered, and a clearer picture of what they can do next.
